a Hope in Hell: Small Steps in Haiti’s Crawl to Recovery - Windswept Productions
Documentary Video HD - Producer/Director/Camera/Editor

The earthquake of January 12, 2010 devastated the already impoverished and desperate nation of Haiti. Yet among the chaos there are rays of hope. This video is a personal journey as I accompany a team from Vision Citadelle - an NGO created by Haitian-Canadians - on a post-earthquake tour of their projects. Although small and tenuous, these projects demonstrate possible steps toward recovery and self-sufficiency. There is a special focus on the work of Pastor Joseph Aristal who works with children in Cité Soleil, one of the poorest and most dangerous places on Earth.

A Hope in Hell
- Windswept Productions
Documentary - producer, director, camera, editor
Still reeling from the 2010 earthquake, Haiti continues to be afflicted by hurricanes, epidemics, political turmoil, corruption, hunger, violence, and unimaginable poverty. Is Haiti a lost cause? Vision Citadelle -- a small Canadian-Haitian NGO -- says No! Only one of 1000's of NGOs working in Haiti, Vision Citadelle doesn't claim to have "THE answer" - but they are committed to solutions that generate economic activity, are sustainable, and are "Haitian". Their vision, dedication and efforts offer a small ray of hope in an otherwise hopeless land.

Damned Rascal (excerpt): 1812 - the Home Front
A biographical portrait of the “Founding Father” of Belleville, Ontario, Captain John Walden Meyers, a notorious American Loyalist and a prominent Canadian pioneer. While a ‘hero’ of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 was a somewhat different experience for Captain Meyers. Representative of much of the population of Upper Canada, Meyers was reluctant to support the war effort and was actually accused of treason! Meyers and his wife also endured a vicious attack in their own house – by British troops! This excerpt showcases life on the ‘home front’ in the Quinte area 200 years ago.

ICPIC 2011 - International Conference on Prevention & Infection Control (World Health Organization - Geneva, Switzerland) - Webber Training
Web Videos - Camera/Editor
During the last decade the prevention of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) has become increasingly important. This change is demonstrated by the choice of an infection control topic by the World Health Organization on its first Global Patient Safety Challenge. There is a need to share knowledge and experience in HAI prevention and control of antimicrobial resistance from the numerous countries and cultures around the world. This need and the worldwide nature of HAI-prevention and antimicrobial resistance control are the reasons to initiate a global conference on this important topic.
The 1st International Conference on Prevention & Infection Control (ICPIC) was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 29 June to 2 July 2011. Webber Training and Windswept Productions are teaming up to cover the key sessions of this important conference and make them available to a world-wide audience.
